Library Strategic Plan
In 2011, Northwestern University issued a new strategic plan.  University Library had effectively accomplished most of the goals in its 2008-2011 plan, and over the course of 2011 wrote a new plan to dovetail with the emerging campus plan.

Library Organization Chart 
The Library, headed by the Dean of Libraries, is organized into four main divisions, each headed by an Associate University Librarian.

Issued three times each year, Footnotes magazine keeps library supporters informed about the work of the library and emphasizes the Library's support of the learning and research of its students and faculty.
