Mission and Goals

The Preservation Department is responsible for the preservation of library collections in all formats, including books, archival materials, audio, film, and digital collections.

Programs and Services

Preservation Department staff manage a broad range of programs and services designed to improve the useful life of collections. These public pages are designed to provide an overview of major departmental programs and services.  

Detailed reports, assessment surveys, planning documents, and disaster response information are available to Northwestern University Library staff through StaffWeb 2.0
