Black History Month on Display

In honor of black history month, the Schaffner Library February book display features the stories of African Americans in Chicago, with a focus on the writers and artists of the black Chicago renaissance. This particular display highlights some great anthologies packed with literature from authors you know and others you will want to get to know. The Schaffner Library also features a collection of nonfiction titles that explore elements of Chicago's history like baseball, packing houses, and the Chicago Metropolitan Assurance Company.
