Explore our new discovery tool

In July 2015 the library will retire NUcat, the online catalog. The library will move exclusively to its new discovery system NUsearch, which premiered in September 2014. NUsearch gives users the ability to search the library’s holdings or to refine to specific types of material, such as books or articles.
NUsearch offers:
•   Access to articles in our journal databases including JSTOR, Project MUSE and Web of Science
•   Advanced personal account features like viewing your checked-out items, renewing your books and saving search strategies
•   Filtering that allows you to narrow your searches by subject, format, language and more
•   Better integration across library systems and databases for a more seamless experience
Get started with NUsearch:
•   NUcat to NUsearch guide
•   Finding a book

Walk-up Sessions:
Wednesday June 10, 2-4pm
Thursday June 11, 10am-Noon
Friday June 12, 2-4pm
Walk-up sessions will continue throughout the summer – every Friday 2-4pm. We’ll continue these as the fall quarter starts.
