ACCOMODATIONS

The hotel selected for the meeting is The Hilton Garden Inn, 1818 Maple Avenue, Evanston, a short walk from campus. The room cost is $115 per night per room single or double occupancy. Reservations can be made by calling the hotel directly at 1-847-475-6400 or 1-877-STAY HGI. In order to receive the $115 room rate, reservations must be made no later than April 7, 2005. You must also identify yourself as a member of The Africana Librarians Council. Overnight street parking is not permitted near the hotel. Cars left overnight on the street will be ticketed and towed. There is a parking lot adjacent to the hotel. Parking in this lot with unlimited in-out privileges is available to hotel guests for a fee of $15 for the duration of their stay.
