David Schwimmer

After graduating from Northwestern's School of Speech in 1988, Schwimmer joined with other Northwestern students to start the Lookingglass Theater Company in Chicago. His feature film debut was in the supporting role of John in "Crossing the Bridge" (1992). Schwimmer also appeared in the short film "The Waiter" (1993), in the initial episodes of "NYPD Blue," and in guest spots on "The Wonder Years" and "L.A. Law." In 1994 his agent called with a script from "Friends." His performance as Ross, the vulnerable, charming guy for the very successful television series, has led to other opportunities including the film, "The Pallbearer."
