Today, October 14th, is Open Access Day

Greetings All,

I would like to introduce myself, Mariann Burright, as the new Scholarly Communications Librarian at Northwestern, and to announce SPARC's first Open Access Day is today. This is an effort to increase awareness of the open access publishing model. You can see details at: http://openaccessday.org/about/
