Looking for the collected works of Leonardo Da Vinci, early western paintings and prints of American frontier life or fascinating biographies on Albert Einstein, Winston Churchill and Jane Addams? You’ll find them along with over 5,000 other books, CDs and DVDs at Northwestern University Library's annual book sale.

Much anticipated by book enthusiasts and collectors, the annual sale in the Ver Steeg Lounge of Northwestern’s Main Library, 1970 Campus Drive, Evanston campus, opens to the public at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 10, and closes for the day at 4:00 p.m.
Northwestern community members with a valid WildCard or an alumni ID can shop the sale a day earlier -- from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9.
Everyone is welcome to take part in “Buck-a-Bag Day,” Friday, May 11. That is when bargain seekers can fill up a bag with books, videos and records for only $1 or a box for just $2.
The event features Northwestern University Press overstock, a large number of classical records in excellent condition for music lovers and especially impressive collections in Art, Architecture, Photography, Fiction, Mathematics and Science.
Until “Buck-a-Bag Day,” hardcover books cost only $3 each; quality paperbacks $2; and mass-market paperbacks are 50 cents each.
