Java Compatible Web Browser Requirements

The Citrix Java client works with many operating systems and web browsers, often without any additional configuration. To run the Java Client your computer must have one of the following operating systems/web browser combinations:

Operating System Web Browser
   

PC

  • Windows 98
  • Windows ME
  • Windows NT - version 4.0
  • Windows 2000 Professional
  • Windows XP Professional and Home Edition

A standard web browser such as:

  • Internet Explorer5.x/6.x
  • Netscape
  • Mozilla

    with one of these Java environments, configured to accept signed Java applets.:

  • Microsoft JVM
  • Java 2, Standard Edition Version 1.3 or greater

Mac OS X 10.x or later

A standard web browser such as:

  • Firefox
  • Mozilla
