Northwestern Alumni

Alumni with a Northwestern University Degree

Alumni holding a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree from Northwestern University may:

• enter the library at any time it is open by presenting an Alumni Association Card; or
• obtain a Borrower’s Card, valid for one year, if they present:

1. Verification of degree awarded
   [NOTE: The Library Privileges office can obtain degree verification directly from the Alumni Office. There is no need to purchase transcripts or other forms of degree verification.]
2. one piece of ID with a Chicago metropolitan area address; and
3. a $25 annual fee.

Individuals Who Attended Northwestern University

Individuals who have attended Northwestern University and completed at least one year (12 units) of study may:

• enter the library during all open hours by presenting:

1. a card from the John Evans Alumni Center; and
2. one additional piece of identification; or

• obtain a Borrower’s Card, valid for three months, if they present:

1. a card from the Alumni Center;
2. one piece of ID with a current Chicago metropolitan area address; and
3. a $50.00 fee for three months of borrowing privileges.
