Anthropology - Encyclopedias & Handbooks
| There are too many
encyclopedias on various aspects of anthropology to list here. Go to NUcat to search
for them in the "Guided Search" mode using combinations of
appropriate terms, such as "encyclopedia" or "dictionary"
or "handbook" and "Indian" [or the name of a culture
or topic]. When you find a good title, go to the "Long View"
of NUcat, scroll down, and click on the link "Library of Congress
subject headings", which will then lead you to other relevant titles. Here are a few of the more general-coverage encyclopedias in the Main Reference Department.
