NUL Collections

  • Humanities & Social Sciences in the Main Library
    It is located on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors of the 3 towers of the University Library. The subject of Asian American Studies does not have a single classification range; the material is scattered in various parts of the Dewey Decimal System: mostly in the 300s (social sciences), 800s (literature), and 900s (history).
  • Main Library Reference Department
    It is located on the 1st floor of the University Library and houses reference books and stand-alone CD-ROMs.
  • Government and Geographic Information and Data Services
    Gov Info houses maps and data collections, workstations for GIS and data work, and is a depository library for U.S. government, State of Illinois, United Nations, Organization of American States, European Union, and World Tourism Organization publications in all formats. Many materials in the department are not included in NUcat.
  • Mitchell Multimedia Center
    The Center is located on the 2nd floor of the South Tower of the University Library and has an extensive collection of videos.
