Gifts from the Charles Deering McCormick Fund October 6, 2003 - November 14, 2003
This exhibit highlighted the extraordinary new acquisitions made possible by a major gift from the McCormick family. Among them is a collection of 6,500 historical photographs documenting life in East Africa from 1860 to 1960, assembled over a 40-year period by British collector Humphrey Winterton. The exhibit also showcased materials either partially or fully funded by the McCormick Special Collections Endowed Fund. |
