Four
of the background pictures for The Nuclear Age came
from The Effects of Atomic Weapons, 1950. There are
three images of the Baker test, and one of the Trinity test.
The fifth image, of the Grable test, came from Personal
Preparedness in the Nuclear Age, 1959.
These are three incarnations
of the same publication ranging from 1950 to 1985. Although
the idea is the same, what do in the case of a nuclear attack,
the message and presentation are very different. They make
for interest reading!
