The World Tourism Organization collection and related materials:

In 2002, Gov Info became a depository library for the World Tourism Organization. The Department receives all the publications of the Organization, but does not have access to data produced by the Organization. Except for the publications on the reference shelves, patrons may check out materials or request them through Interlibrary Loan.

United Nations Common Database (UNCDB)

• UNCDB provides access to more than 430 statistical series, from 30 international sources, for 608 countries and areas. The date coverage varies for each statistical series and country. Some series have data from the late 1940s to the present.
• Click on "Sources list" and choose "World Tourism Organization Statistics."

UNCTAD Handbook of Statistics on CD-ROM

• The UNCTAD Handbook is published annually in print and on CD-ROM. The current year of both formats is shelved in GovInfo reference, call number Govt. TD/STAT.
• UNCTAD published World Tourism Organization data in the Handbook for the first time in the 2002 issue.
• The four statistics included in Table 5.3 are tourism expenditures, tourists' overnight stays, arrivals of tourists, and average length of stay.
• Both the print edition and the CD-ROM provide statistics for individual countries for recent years.

World Development Indicators 2007

Annual compilation of data about development. The 2007 WDI includes more than 900 indicators in over 80 tables organized in 6 sections: World View, People, Environment, Economy, States and Markets, and Global Links. Produced by the World Bank.
