Art Institute of Chicago comes to Northwestern

Printer-friendly versionSend by email
Northwestern University Library has made an agreement with the Art Institute of Chicago (AIC) to house some materials from the AIC’s Ryerson and Burnham Libraries at Northwestern’s Oak Grove Library Center (OGLC), located in Waukegan, Illinois. Approximately 10,000 items will be transferred to the OGLC by September 2013, and the agreement with AIC allows for additional transfers in the coming years.

Members of the Northwestern University community will now be able to request these materials for in-library use.  All AIC materials house at the Oak Grove Library Center will be included in Northwestern’s library catalog. This new arrangement promises to offer convenient access to items that have not been readily available to the Northwestern community in the past.
