In doing your research you can always make good use of the Department's Reference desk. However, at times your research query may be more involved and cannot be adequately handled using this option. As a service to the Northwestern University community a librarian is available for a Research Consultation where indexes, databases, and other resouces will be identified to assist you in your research needs.
Research Consultations for the U.S. Federal Documents Collection are no more than an hour and are by appointment Monday through Friday between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Appointments can be made by email or online by filling out the Research Consultation Appointment Request form.
*Please note Research Consultations are limited to the Northwestern University Community members and should be scheduled a minimum of 2 business days in advance.
