Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:
A student consultant in the Marjorie I. Mitchell Multimedia Center assists users (faculty, staff, and students) in accessing and viewing the large Multimedia Center's collection of videotapes, laserdiscs, DVDs, and CDs. They set up screening classrooms, operating a variety of audio/visual equipment, including professional VCR's, laserdisc players, DVD players, projection systems, etc. Other duties and special projects are frequently assigned.
Qualifications:- Previous relevant experience is desirable
- Computer literacy
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work well with the public are essential
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be detail-oriented and a good communicator
- Must be Work-Study eligible (academic year)
During the Summer Session, this open position is scheduled evenings, Monday - Thursday, for 4 hours. During the academic year, student consultants are scheduled between 8 - 12 hours per week. These hours are divided up between daytime, evening and weekend hours. A hiree must be able to work a combination of these hours. Students must be work-study eligible to continue working into the academic year.

Monday - Thursday: 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Academic Year: 8 openings available
Monday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Friday & Saturday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: 12:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
