Donating Materials FAQ

Printer-friendly versionSend by email

The University Archives has been fulfilling its mission and building its collections since 1935. The Archives obtains and adds to its holdings by recieving University records transferred by offices and departments; and by the donation of faculty members' personal papers; student organizations' records; and the personal papers and memorabilia of alumni and friends.

The Archives has prepared helpful documents describing what it collects and how to transfer or donate materials to the Archives.

Archives staff will be happy to answer questions about the collecting policy, and about how to arrange for materials to be picked up or dropped off. For more information, please contact the Archives at 847-491-3354.
