Our Collection and Facilities

The Northwestern University in Qatar Library supports students, faculty and staff. The collection is very large - we have access to a huge range of materials electronically and in print/on DVD. Our collection is growing daily.

The Library purchases print and electronic monographs, serials and media. Materials fall into the following subject areas: Journalism, Communication Studies and Radio/TV/Film. General reference and reading materials are also collected.

During semester*:
Sunday - Wednesday: 8:30am – 8:00pm
Thursday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Closed Friday/Saturday

Ramadan hours:
Sunday - Thursday 8:30am – 5:30pm
Closed Friday/Saturday

Semester break hours:
Sunday - Thursday 9:00am – 4:00pm
