Science and engineering backfiles

Ongoing purchases expand research access

Northwestern University Library continues to purchase online backfiles of important scientific, engineering, and medical journals in order to facilitate research by allowing immediate access to these publications. Recently the Library added three important backfiles, covering the period prior to 1995, from Elsevier:

Biochemistry, Genetics, and Molecular Biology (this backfile was purchased jointly with the Galter Health Sciences Library)
Materials Science and
Organic Chemistry
(which can also be accessed at ScienceDirect .)

The Library also acquired the Springer-Verlag backfile of publications prior to 1995 in
Chemistry and Materials Science.

These titles are also available through SpringerLink.

All of these journal backfiles are also accessible through NUcat and through the online journal listing on Einstein.
