University Library, in partnership with Kellogg, now offers EBSCO Corporation's business database, Business Source Premier. This product should significantly enhance online access to the business journal literature. At the same time, through our Kellogg-Library partnership we have been able to continue our subscription to ProQuest's ABI/INFORM Global. While there is some overlap between these products, each database has enough valuable "exclusives" that it is desirable to offer both.
BUSINESS SOURCE PREMIER
Business Source Premier, designed specifically for business schools and libraries, provides nearly 3,300 full-text scholarly publications, including more than 1,000 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to the full text, this database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 4,100 journals. The database offers information in nearly every area of business including management, economics, finance, accounting, international business, and more. Business Source Premier contains full text for top management and marketing journals including Harvard Business Review, California Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Industrial & Labor Relations Review, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Marketing Management, Journal of Marketing Research (JMR), Journal of Marketing, Journal of International Marketing, etc. The database also includes full-text information from sources including country economic reports from the EIU, DRI-WEFA, ICON Group, and CountryWatch, and detailed company profiles for the world's 5,000 largest companies.
Business Source Premier provides expanded indexing and abstract backfiles for the top scholarly business journals dating back to 1965 or the first issue published. The database contains PDF images for the great majority of journals; many of these PDFs are native (searchable) or scanned-in-color. Business Source Premier is updated daily on EBSCOhost.
