Full-text economic reports and statistics for the Asia-Pacific Rim
Northwestern University Library has recently purchased access to Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Fulltext Studies. This database includes statistics, official documents, economic studies, and industry-specific studies and will be relevant to those interested in economics and political science or anyone concerned with the countries of the Asia-Pacific rim.
The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) is an intergovernmental organization that includes 21 member economies: Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Chinese Taipei (Taiwan), Thailand, United States and Viet Nam. APEC was created in 1989 as a forum for facilitating economic development, trade, cooperation and investment.
