Printer-friendly versionSend by email

Northwestern University libraries and Google are partnering to digitize hundreds of thousands of print volumes from our collections. Digitization will make many of our world class collections readily available to local, national and worldwide scholars and researchers.

Materials from the following collections are scheduled to be digitized:

The University Library general collection (stacks); The Melville J. Herskovits Library of African Studies; the Music Library; the Art Collection; the Transportation Library; the Seeley G. Mudd Library  for  Science and Engineering; the Boas Mathematics Library; the Schaffner Library; the Galter Health Sciences Library; and the Pritzker Legal Research Center.

The project began in October 2010 and will continue for several years.
