"Hot Car" Dangers

21 children in the United States have already died in 2011 of hyperthermia-related causes, and children left in cars are the main culprit. Texas, Florida, California, Nevada, and North Carolina see the most cases of "hot car" fatalities. The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) has begun working with stakeholders on ways to prevent needless deaths in the upcoming year.
