This YouTube 1945 historic video of the Chicago North Shore and Milwaukee Railroad trip north from Chicago is truly a time capsule. The views from the front-mounted camera on these wintery days show a very unique perspective: somewhat old, but yet familiar of our communities. The non-existent safety aspects are at once scary and quaint. The number of comments adds to the historic value. <
