One Book One Northwestern Exhibits Featured at the Library

As you know, this year's One Book One Northwestern selection is Alex Kotlowitz's NEVER A CITY SO REAL.  As part of this year's  initiative, we have mounted two exhibits which showcase just a few of the many, many Chicago-related materials in our collections.  In the government information reading room, you will find an exhibit of materials about the geography of the city, while in the main library's new book alcove you can view a selection of Chicago-themed books, drawn from the Transportation Library, the University Archives, the art collection, and  the general collections; these books are either by Northwestern faculty, or include essays by our faculty.  Thanks to Ann Aler, Chris Davidson, Nora Davis, Joe Ellison, Kevin Leonard, and Lauren Stuhldreher for their work on these exhibits.
