Celebrate National Library Week 2013 with Northwestern, April 14 - 20.


Poets in Our Corner

This year's One Book One Northwestern, Never a City So Real, and National Library Week focus on community. In that spirit, Northwestern University Library and Northwestern University Press present an evening highlighting two poets from the Northwestern and Evanston community.
Evanston poets Rachel Webster and Christina Pugh will read from their work and fellow poet Parneshia Jones (NU Press) will moderate a discussion of the influence of community on their poetry.

Deering After Dark

Deering Library
On Thursday, when the books close, one of the oldest buildings on campus comes alive with three floors of fun! Take break with your fellow night owls to blow off some steam or simply unwind.
