As the US Census Bureau boldly encourages citizens to, "Go head-to-head with neighboring cities or towns..." Click on "View Participation Rates" for access to an interactive map offering a variety of tools for viewing real-time census response rates. At "press time" Illinois is at 70%! How does that compare with the rest of the nation? Take a look...

Play around with the search capabilities by entering a Zip Code, City or State Name.

Next, click on the map and try selecting "Track Participation Rate".
The circle which pops up allows for searching by Place Name, Participation Rate at the National, State and Local levels as well as Zoom In, Compare and Track features!

The Track Feature will even provide you with a Widget to copy like the one here for tracking Illinois!

Want more options? The Compare Feature allows the Statistically Minded (aka, data junkie), to create a customized chart like the one shown here comparing one of the currrently highest participating areas with local Evanston and Illinois results.
