University of California and Nature Publishing Group battle over journal pricing

On June 4, a letter went to the University of California faculty about a proposed jump in the cost of the U of C's license for Nature Group's journals. The Chronicle of Higher Education reports "The University of California system has said "enough" to the Nature Publishing Group, one of the leading commercial scientific publishers, over a big proposed jump in the cost of the group's journals."
