There are times when we all find ourselves tired of waiting at red lights.
There are two possible solutions. The first involves looking at some of the many articles we've indexed, detailing just how and why the timing is as it is. Traffic flow, clearance intervals, lowered crash rates, driver decision-making modeling, they're all there, and all important. The second approach is much more visceral, as shown in the linked cartoon from web cartoonist xkcd.
