Professor Clayson to be honored at Art Institute

Honoring S. Hollis Clayson: Transatlantic Illuminations will take place October 23, 2010, from 10:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. in the Art Institute's Fullerton Hall. Former students will share new scholarship on French, British, and American art of the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries in this free symposium sponsored by Northwestern's Departments of Art History and History.

S. Hollis Clayson is Professor of Art History, Bergen Evans Professor in the Humanities, and Director of the Alice Kaplan Humanities Institute at Northwestern.
