Library Offers Borrowing Privileges to the Evanston Community
Northwestern University Library is pleased to offer borrowing privileges to the Evanston community!
Beginning in March, permanent residents of the City of Evanston who are over 18 years of age may qualify for borrowing privileges at Northwestern University Library. Qualified patrons will have access to our library during all open hours, as well as borrowing privileges in the Main, Music, Transportation, Africana, Science and Engineering, Math, Geology, and Schaffner Libraries. In order to obtain a borrower’s card, patrons must present a photo ID, proof of current Evanston residency (utility bill, bank statement, lease), and a valid email address. The cost to obtain a borrower’s card is $50 per three months of privileges. All questions should be directed to the Library Privileges Department at (847) 491-7617 or libpriv@northwestern.edu . We look forward to seeing you soon!
