New Gartner portal provides access to IT information

Northwestern University and Gartner, Inc. have launched a new research portal to provide Northwestern students and faculty with access to information and analysis on the global information technology industry. Gartner is a leading consulting firm providing expertise and practical advice to approximately 45,000 clients working in information technology (IT). Gartner’s extensive information network will support Northwestern’s curriculum and enhance teaching and learning by:

• Allowing professors to bring timely, real-world examples and content to the classroom.
• Applying technology to business problems, which is especially appropriate for Northwestern’s MBA programs.
• Introducing long-term trends and issues facing future IT managers.
