The Preservation Department maintains a disaster handbook, informative posters and also conducts regular training sessions about disaster preparedness. The Disaster Prevention and Action Team (DPAT) has primary responsibility for preventing and recovering from library disasters such as fire and flood that affect library collections.
In the event of an emergency during normal working hours, call Peter Devlin (491-2882) or Mary Bradley (491-7641) if Peter is unavailable. They will contact Campus Facilities (491-5201). Then you should also call the Preservation Department (491-7599).
In the event of an emergency after regular working hours, please refer to your departmental call list or emergency handbook.
