Northwestern University is deeply grateful to persons who give books and other material to the University Library.
The Library accepts books, journals, recordings, archival material, manuscripts, and other material that supports the research and teaching mission of the University. Because student and faculty interests are so diverse at Northwestern, the Library can make good use of gifts in many subject fields.
Gift books have significantly enriched the collection at Northwestern University Library for over 125 years. With your donations, we can add new titles to the collection, provide multiple copies of in-demand volumes, or replace volumes which have been lost and/or damaged.
We do, however, reserve the right to dispose of unneeded gift materials by selling, trading or recycling them.
To donate books to the library, contact the Gifts Coordinator, by e-mail or by phone at (847) 491-2932.
The library also welcomes monetary gifts to support its collections, programs and facilities. For further information on monetary gifts, contact the Director of Development for Libraries, Press and University Archives, Carlos Terrazas, by email or by phone at (847) 467-2631.
