The Core Collection housed in the open stacks of 2 North in the Main Library holds 35,000 key titles that reflect the undergraduate curriculum at Northwestern University. Core books circulate for 7 days, and can be renewed online up to 3 times.
The Core is also intended for studying. It features group study rooms, plenty of study tables, laptop connections, wireless.
During the regular school year Core is open until 3 a.m., Sunday through Thursday evenings. During Reading and Exam weeks Core is open for 24 hours.
