Transportation Library Services

The Transportation Library offers three major services. Please visit the site for each service for our policies and procedures.

• Reference [1], including ready reference, extended reference, bibliographic instruction, information literacy instruction and live/chat reference. A distinction is made between the level of service that can be provided for the Northwestern University community and for non-Northwestern patrons.
• Document delivery [2], including borrowing [3] from other institutions for our Northwestern University patrons, scanning [4]from our collection for our Northwestern University patrons, and lending [5] items from the Transportation Library to patrons all over the world.
• Current Awareness [6], including the provision of current tables-of-contents and the transmittal of e-journal articles which have been requested by the faculties of the Transportation Center and the Center for Public Safety.
