The AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety is holding a "Heads Up Driving Week" Oct. 2-8, 2011 to bring awareness to the risk of distracted driving. The annual AAA Traffic Safety Culture Index reveals that although 95% of the population views texting and e-mailing while driving dangerous, 35% continue to do so.
