38 Maps You Never Knew You Needed

Buzzfeed has posted a collection of 38 maps [2], or rather mappings, of various concepts and connections around the globe. Some are directly related to transportation, such as map 22, "The U.S. high-speed rail system that will never be," while others cover some interesting "what-if" scenarios, for instance map 4, "…[H]ow much space the world's population would take up if everyone lived in one city."
