Through Finals Week, the Main Library will be a site where people can add their thumbprint and their code (consisting of the first two letters of their first and last names - like Henrietta Lacks cells were coded HeLa) to the community art project which is part of this year's One Book One Northwestern program.
There is a scroll and a collection of ink pads (and wet wipes to clean off one's thumb!) on a table on the 2nd floor of the Main Library near the elevator and adjacent to the student lounge area/hallway. Please make your mark and encourage others to do so as the scroll will be part of an exhibit of the entire art project starting May 10.
There is also a scroll in Mudd Library, and a third is planned for Schaffner Library on the Chicago campus.
