Article & Book Delivery

The Article & Book Delivery Service is for:

• Distance Education
• Study Abroad Students
• NU Faculty and Graduate Students in the Field

Members of the NU community who are not currently on campus are eligible for many library services including article and book delivery.

Distance Education Students

The library will send available books and articles from circulating Evanston-campus collections to current students enrolled in Distance Education programs through the School of Continuing Studies. We provide Interlibrary Loan services to this group, and will borrow books and articles from other libraries and send them to students.

Students are responsible for returning NU library books and ILL books through traceable shipping methods offered through agencies and companies such as the U.S. Postal Service and UPS.

Study Abroad Students

The library will send available books from circulating Evanston-campus collections to current NU students studying abroad. We will also scan and send articles available in Evanston-campus libraries for you as you study abroad.

NU Faculty and Graduate Students in the Field

Since your research and writing can take you away from campus, we offer Article & Book delivery to support your work while you are in the field.

The library will send available books and articles from circulating Evanston-campus collections to current NU faculty and graduate students out in the field.

If you are part of this group, and in the United States, we will also provide ILL services of books to you. No matter where you are (in the U.S. or abroad) we will provide ILL services of articles for you.
