African American Biographical Database 
Biographical sketches and essays on African Americans from 1790 to 1950. The African American Biographical Database corresponds to the printed resource entitled Black Biographical Dictionaries. Records include short sketches and longer biographical essays, as well as numerous illustrations and photographs. |
Almanac of American Politics 
Overviews of U.S.states, congressional districts and elected officials. Provides political profiles of the 106th Congress, states, congressional districts and current U.S. governors. The Almanac also offers biographical sketches and political profiles of the current members of Congress and state governors, including contact information and committee memberships when applicable. |
