Case Studies
Northwestern University Library does not subscribe directly to any sources for case studies. Kellogg faculty occasionally provide select cases to students via course packets. In addition, you may order cases directly from case publishing sites, such as the ones listed below:
European Case Clearing House
allows comprehensive searching of several collections
of cases including those of Harvard, Darden, MIT, JFK
School of Government, Ivey, INSEAD, and others.
Kellogg School of Management Case Collection
Harvard Business School Publishing Case Studies
Stanford Business School Case Abstracts
Ivey Business School Publishing
Along with the publishers above, you can access articles and studies from the business and management literature that are "case-like" by searching the business databases below:
ABI Inform Global (ProQuest)
Use ABI's advanced search, type "case studies" into the first box,
use the first drop-down menu and select "subject" to search case
studies as subject. Then, in additional boxes, add other keywords,
such as various industries or company names.
Business Source Premier
Use BSP's advanced search, select the drop-down menu next to "document
type" and select "case study." Add additional relevant keywords
to the keyword search box.
NUcat: NU Library Catalog
You may be able to identify books owned by NU libraries that contain
case studies. Use the Guided Search in NUcat. Type case studies
in the first box, in the drop-down menu, select "as a phrase".
In the second drop-down menu, select "Subject" to search case
studies as a subject. In additional boxes, add additional keywords.
