This large database is a great place to begin research on almost any topic including the sciences. Including citations and abstracts for nearly 8035 scholarly journals (3630 peer-reviewed), as well as over 4515 full-text titles, Academic Search Premier covers a broad spectrum of resources that will assist you in your research.

This is another large database covering a wide variety of resources on almost all academic topics. Citations, abstracts and selected full-text articles in more than one thousand periodicals covering the social sciences, the humanities, the sciences, and current affairs.

Lexis Nexis contains the full text of articles from several thousand news and business publications. Additionally it is also a source of legal information containing State and Federal Codes, Cases, and legal reviews.

Covers the international literature of the biomedical and health sciences, including clinical literature in the the biological, psychological, information, social, and physical sciences.

This is a bibliographic index to literature of public policy, social policy, and the social sciences in general. Users can select to search both the archive (1914-1976) and the current database (1972-present). This index is available in paper in the reference room for the years 1915-1936 (call #: 016.3 P97).

This database provides comprehensive reporting and analysis on controversial news topics.

Includes citations and selected full-text articles from U.S. and international news sources, including wire services, broadcasts, transcripts, newspapers and periodicals. Users may search by key word within the full-text, or within the headline, lead paragraph or source title.

Specific Journals

Provides news of recent international developments and research in all fields of science. Publishes original research results, reviews and short features.
