Library 101: How to begin your research
What are some approaches for getting started with online library research? There are hundreds of databases available. How can you choose the right one? What are some search techniques that will help you find the most relevant and useful information? Get an edge on library research by learning the answers to these and other questions. Learn to find online journal articles more effectively using Boolean operators, truncation, and precise keyword searches. Also learn how to use NUcat, Northwestern's online catalog, to locate materials in the library.
