Basic Economics ![]()
Contains monthly, quarterly, and annual time-series data that date back to 1946, when available, and ends with the latest updates. Data consist of national-level information from Federal agencies such as the Bureau of Economic Analysis, Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and Federal Reserve Board as well as private organizations such as the Conference Board. Coverage includes that of the four following data sets. BASIC covers US economic, financial, and demographic statistics including merchandise trade, population, production, income, housing, employment, money supply, and interest and exchange rates. Various series are available at monthly, quarterly, or annual frequencies. BASIC_D covers daily financial and market variables, commodity prices, and exchange and interest rates.
