Borrowing Request for Thesis or Dissertation

Use this form to borrow a thesis or dissertation completed by a student at another institution. In many cases, the only existing copy of a thesis or dissertation is held at a library at the institution at which the student completed his or her degree. This often makes it difficult for us to borrow theses and dissertations. If the item is in use at the other institution, it may be several months before it is available for loan. Also, be aware that many theses and dissertations are available only in microfiche or microfilm formats. Lastly, please remember that many colleges and universities do not lend their theses and dissertations at all. If you are interested in purchasing a copy of a dissertation, try UMI Dissertation Services.

How to Make a Thesis/Dissertation Request
