Guest NetIDs and Wi-Fi Access

Printer-friendly versionSend by email

A Northwestern NetID is required to access secure University resources. Anyone with a Northwestern NetID should be using the "Northwestern" wireless network. Two-hour access to Library resources may be granted by visiting a Library service desk to get a temporary NetID.

Guest NetIDs work on all public computers except those in the John P. McGowan Information Commons. They are valid for 2 hours. Guests who wish additional time will be required to meet with a library staff member for a research consultation to certify that their research needs require access to computer resources. This access will be granted at the discretion of the library staff
