The Pont Neuf is a site that has attracted artists from its very beginnings, producing images of the bridge and its life, of river traffic, of bustling quay-side activity, and of striking architecture. A few of these paintings, drawings, engravings, etc. are presented in this website.

A work of art that doesn't fit into any of the usual categories, and that caused quite a stir when produced in September of 1985, was the wrapping of the bridge by Christo. Photos of that event by Ben Mittman are also presented.
